“We first used Tonia for pet sitting in July of 2007. We were traveling to Florida for my cousin’s wedding and we were spending a week there. Two days before we were to leave, our Persian came down with a severe Urinary Tract Infection for the first time.

I was a wreck leaving her, but Tonia’s expertise in cat care really put me at ease. When the meds weren’t working Tonia was able to get a urine sample from our cat (something I couldn’t do) and bring it to our vet. They re-adjusted her meds and by the time we got home our cat was on the mend, thanks to Tonia!

We’ve also used Tonia when we have gone away in the month of January and have called her to find that she was on her way to our house for the pet sitting visit, driving through a snow storm! She frequently goes above and beyond, sometimes spending more time on a visit and truly cares for the welfare of the animals. “Our cat named shenanigans is twenty years old and I did not have the heart to leave her for a very long time to go on vacation. Then my husband remembered Tonia (owner of Spot-Light Pet Spa). I called her and she came to the house and met with us and our cat and it seemed that the old cat took to her immediately. After she met with us I trusted her to care for our home and cat and off I went for one week of much needed rest and relaxation.

When I got home I couldn’t believe it! Shenanigans looked clean and happy. She looked better than she had in years. With my permission Tonia started her on some treats that she said would help the cats arthritis. Well, she was right and Shenanigans seemed to be walking better. She also cleaned her ears and tidied her up a bit.

The house looked great. The mail was in a pile and the rubbish barrels returned to the garage as planned, after being put out for pick up on trash day. Also, there was a personal diary of day to day activities with shenanigans. Tonia was a gift from heaven and now I am hounding my husband….can we take a long cruise?”

Casey loves her routine, and her special meal that her parents prepare when they go away- I add a little water and warm it for 17 seconds in the microwave, and casey howls and jumps up, up up, until she hears the beeps! What a love bug!
