Hi Tonia,

Thank you for sharing the wonderful article on pet wills and trusts. I am currently updating my will and this article gave me good talking points with my lawyer. My therapy dog, Coco Chanel, means everything to me and I want to make sure she is well cared for if something was to happen to me.

Great newsletter. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for reading my post, I have been very moved by the rescue workers and caregivers that are in Japan, and I wish there was more I could do to help the people and the pets in need. I know this past week in Plymouth, MA the town did a fundraisers for their sister city near the earthquake area. Has anyone else heard of anything happening to help? I'd love it of you wanted to leave a comment and share your thoughts with others here.
Hugs, Tonia

Hmm, I run a cat boarding website, and I truly have never heard of cat daycare. I suppose because most people do not mind leaving their cats alone during the day. I can see how it might be wanted from time to time, if you have brought your cat with you someplace away from home and you have no appropriate place to put your cat, such as if you brought them on a road trip and you are stopping in a town along the way you want to explore but not staying the night, and leaving the cat in the car is not a good option (never a good thing to do!). In this case, I would really just book a cat boarding facility and tell them you will be back later in the day, they may or may not charge you full price. You can go to KennelSeek.com to search for cat boarding facilities.

Tonia,

This was a great story and I can see it all as if I was watching it in slow motion as I read. You are the most compassionate person I know especially with animals...Oh and funny.

Thanks for sharing your post. I had a great time reading it. I'm a cat lover too and we have the same experience with our pets.
Cats are the second most popular pets loved by millions of people all over the world. Whether you are a first time cat owner, or have been owned by several cats over the years, you know that there are a few cat health problems that you should be on the lookout for.
That's why we should really take a look at our cats health all the time.

I hope that people read this article & donate to the shelter. Diane has been a life saver for me & my children. I rescued my first ever ferret & luckily Diane helped my family learn how to nurture her back to health. She lived 3 beautiful years before she passed. Loosing her was like loosing part of the family. Diane, her associates & volunteers have been so wonderful. She personally helped us through the loss of our baby girl. I even had to give a sick ferret to her shelter, that I took in from someone else. Since I moved pretty far a friend even met me to bring her the rest of the way to Diane. She fixed her up & she is living happily in a new home. I've recently adopted a little girl from Diane for my Fuzzie and they are doing wonderfully.
Diane is a person that will help anyone in need and is always there for you when you need her. I hope that people realize how important this shelter is for the Ferret population and donate whatever they can to assist in the funding for this project. I have never met a nicer run shelter and no matter where I move will always go back to this one. They do not euthenize (sp) unless she cannot save the ferret and believe me she does everything in her power to save them.
If you have a ferret & they need their rabies shots, please attend the clinic. Most of the proceeds go to the shelter, it is fantastic & my family and I will be there again this year.
