Tonia Evans is an established cat care specialist in Massachusetts, with over 15 years experience specializing in senior, disabled and special needs cats.

She earned a 2009 All Star Award from Constant Contact for excellence in email marketing for her companies monthly e-newsletters. For over 9 years she has directed public relations initiatives on behalf of pet service brands and charities.

She delivers enthusiastic presentations on cat care, pet lifestyle and pet industry topics. She recently taught “How To Groom Your Cat At Home” a workshop for cat parents, as well as a handful of “Publicity Success” courses through Adult Ed programs and private classes. A life long cat lover -her instincts for cat care and handling have given her extra nine-lives with her feline friends!

Additionally, she established The Kitty’s Corner, a cat boarding and grooming business, wrote Purr View a cat care column for the Pet Gazette and as the Events Columnist, was a contributing blogger for Nashville Paw Magazine’s The Cat’s Meow column and writes pet stories for her own blog at felineaficionada.com/blog.

She has a A.S. in Animal Care and Management from Becker College and a Bachelors of Science in Speech Performance from Emerson College in Boston.
